SanctuaryStack ("we", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle data when you use our mobile-first community platform designed for churches and non-profits.

2. Data We Collect

• Account Information: Name, Email, and Phone Number of the administrator.
• Platform Data: Content you post, attendance records, and group memberships.
• Communication Data (Optional): If you choose to enable WhatsApp integration, we access your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) details to facilitate messaging.
• Contact Lists: Phone numbers and names of your congregation members uploaded for community management and notifications.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

• Provide the SanctuaryStack PWA experience and app notifications.
• Facilitate optional communication via integrated channels.
• Manage your account and billing.
• Provide technical support.

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your contact lists to third parties.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you choose to close your account, we will delete all your church data within 30 days of the request, except where required by law. You can request a full data export at any time before closure.

5. DPDP Act Compliance (India)

As a provider for Indian churches, we adhere to the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023. We act as a "Data Processor" for the church (the "Data Fiduciary"). We process personal data only on documented instructions from the church.

6. Security Measures

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including SSL encryption for data in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Regular backups and access controls are in place to ensure data integrity.

4. PWA Technology

SanctuaryStack is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Unlike traditional apps, it does not require an App Store download. We use browser-based technologies like Service Workers and Local Storage to provide an app-like experience, enable offline access, and deliver instant updates without store approvals.

5. Optional Third-Party Integrations

For churches using our optional WhatsApp Business Platform integration, we adhere to the WhatsApp Business Policy. Data processed via these integrations is used strictly for your church's messaging services.
