The app
Is this an App Store app or a website? +
It's a Progressive Web App (PWA). Members open your church's link and tap "Add to Home Screen". It looks and feels like an app, with your logo and push notifications — without app stores, Apple IDs or update delays.
Do we pay Apple or Google developer fees? +
No. Because there's no app store listing, there are no developer programme fees and no review delays.
Does it work on slow connections or offline? +
Yes. Pages are light, and announcements and devotionals you've recently opened still load without a connection. Personal pages like prayer requests are never stored on the phone, for privacy.
Can we use our own logo and colours? +
Yes. Your church name, logo, app name and brand colour are used throughout the member app and on the home-screen icon.
WhatsApp & communication
Can we keep our WhatsApp groups? +
Yes. Most churches keep WhatsApp for conversation and use Sanctuary Stack for attendance, official announcements, events and care — the things that shouldn't get lost in a busy group.
How do announcements reach members? +
As posts in the app's feed plus a push notification. You can target everyone, specific groups, leaders or individual families.
Can we share sermon videos? +
Yes — paste a YouTube link and it plays inside the feed. Hosting stays with YouTube, so the app stays fast on mobile data.
Pastoral care
Who can see prayer requests? +
Requests are confidential by default and visible only to senior pastors. A pastor can share a request with a prayer team; private requests are never visible to teams.
Will members know someone prayed? +
Yes. When a leader records a prayer, the member is notified that their church is praying for them.
Can we track volunteers and serving rotas? +
Yes. Set repeating serving patterns, let volunteers see their own schedule and mark themselves unavailable, and spot gaps before Sunday.
Pricing & setup
How much does it cost? +
The Church plan is ₹2,499 per month for up to 500 members, with every feature included. Pay yearly (₹24,990) and get two months free.
Is there a free plan? +
No. We keep one straightforward paid plan so we can set up every church properly. Our 30-day money-back guarantee starts from your first live Sunday.
How long does setup take? +
Send us your member list — Excel, a WhatsApp export or a photo of the register. We import it, prepare QR codes and train your team on a 20-minute call. Most churches go live the next Sunday.
Do you build custom apps? +
No. Sanctuary Stack is one product used by many churches, which keeps it affordable and reliable. If you need something built from scratch, we'll tell you honestly on the first call.
Giving
How does giving work? +
Your admins record gifts by fund — tithes, missions, building and so on — whether they came by cash, UPI, cheque or bank transfer. Members can be sent giving statements.
Do you take a cut of donations? +
No. We don't process payments, so there are no transaction fees on your congregation's giving.
Data & privacy
Who owns our data? +
You do. Export members, attendance and giving to Excel-friendly files at any time. No exit fee and no lock-in.
How is our data kept separate? +
Each church's records are isolated, and every AI or API key works only for the church that created it. Data travels over encrypted connections.
Is our data used to train AI? +
No. We don't sell your data or use it to train public AI models. If you connect your own AI assistant, it only sees what you ask it to look up.
